Do I have to signup for FilesQuick separately?
No, if you are a member of eXBii.com , your membership is carried over automatically to FilesQuick.
Is Filesquick a vBulletin forum? What makes it special?
Yes. The backend of Filesquick is a vBulletin forum radically modified to serve the purpose of video sharing.
Images and videos are stored as attachments in FilesQuick. One post can contain up to 100 attachments (images and videos combined). This way you can post all related parts of the video in one ‘thread’. Videos can be added to either the same post or different posts as well if you wish in a thread.
Video uploads appear as ‘threads’ with the attached screenshots and the video itself too as an attachment for download. Comments appear below as posts. The images are accessible by all and no bandwidth is deducted. Videos are available only by spending bandwidth.
What are the sections at Filesquick?
Filesquick has three main sections.
Video section: Where all your completed uploads having at least one screenshot will appear. This is the main section of Filesquick.
Incomplete threads section: Threads in Video section must contain at least one image and one video in the first post. Otherwise, they land up here. To move a thread to video section, just add the missing parts.

How do I upload a video to Filesquick?
Upload link: This shows various methods for upload.
At present there are two methods available.Other methods will be available shortly.
- HTML upload method with a progress bar and should be your choice for rapid uploads with a stable connection.
- Windows FQ Uploader application: For very fast uploading with upload progress bar, indicates duplicate videos/unsupported filetypes before they are uploaded, and supports resume for broken/paused uploads.
Once you upload a video these are shown as orphan attachments in your account which can be attached to a post.
Once you attach a video to a post along with a screenshot, it is automatically moved to the Video section and shows at the top of the list.

What are the important features on Filesquick?
FQ accountant: Show a complete breakdown of your videos uploaded and downloaded, bandwidth gained and spent, orphan attachments and other statistics in meticulous detail.
What other enhancements are available?
Duplicate videos cannot be added. Irrespective of file name changes the same video cannot be added to Filesquick and will show an error.
Prefixes
These are predefined categories that you can assign to your video. These prefixes make sorting easier. For example if you wish to view only videos in the Bollywood category, click on the Bolly prefix and all videos in that category will be shown.
How are downloads charged?
The entire bandwidth equal to file size of the video is accounted for right at the beginning of the download. Of course, this means that partial downloads are also charged for full file and makes it more standards compliant.
How can i have a wishlist?
The thread subscription feature acts as a wishlist. You can subscribe to any thread by clicking of subscribe to thread option from thread tools within a thread. The subscribed threads can be viewed from your user cp.
What file formats are allowed?
Images can be posted with jpg, jpeg, jpe, png and gif extensions. Branding will be added to uploaded images.
All popular types of video files are allowed. For the detailed list of allowed file types please see here
Zip/rar uploads (without passwords) will be allowed shortly, but the files will not be stored as zip/rar. They will be opened and the individual files will be attached to the post. Any files which have unknown extensions will be discarded.
Anything else I should know?
IMG and URL tags are disabled in the whole site. Signatures are severely limited. Avatars are allowed. Reps are disabled.
